How Did Sergio Victor Palma Die?

He was 65 years old, suffering from Parkinson's disease and a stroke. He died in a hospital in Mar del Plata after being an Argentine boxing champion with his own style.

Who Was Sergio Victor Palma?

He made his professional debut at the age of 20 against Ricardo Gómez in Pergamino. He was born on January 1, 1956. 


It was a victory by points. He won the Argentine superalloys champion a year later, in October 1977, by defeating Arnoldo Agüero on the cards and at Luna Park.


Seven months later, in San Carlos de Bariloche, he won the South American title in the categories with another points triumph, this time over Hugo Melgarejo.
