Jessica Walter, an award-winning actress best known for her role in the TV show "Arrested Development,."
Her daughter confirmed to CNN, she died in her sleep at her New York City home on Wednesday. She was 80 years old.
Brooke Bowman, her daughter, said in a statement,
It is with a heavy heart that I confirm the passing of my beloved mom Jessica, A working actor for over six decades, her greatest pleasure was bringing joy to others through her storytelling both on-screen and off. While her legacy will live on through her body of work, she will also be remembered by many for her wit, class, and overall joie de vivre.

Jessica Walter was an American actress who was best known for her roles in the films Grand Prix (1966), Play Misty for Me (1971), and The Group (1966), as well as her role as Lucille Bluth on Arrested Development and as Malory Archer on the FX animated series Archer. She was born on January 31, 1941, in Brooklyn, New York, U.S.
